Watch a lot of movies? You know the drill: it’s all about suspending your disbelief at the door – especially during an action movie, where implausible reigns supreme. Here are some of Hollywood’s most outlandish attempts to break the laws of physics – or nature!
They all tend to work alone, but with the scale of natural disasters, terrorist attacks and the threat of World War 3, we figure Hollywood’s greatest action actors could do with some real assistance – a kind of powerhouse sidekick with limitless courage and killer instinct. Think you’ve got what it takes?
When you try to compile a list of the worst dialogue in action movies, you’re left asking the question: where does it end? Answer - it doesn’t. Prepare to groan, people.
Let’s face it: when a movie is unintentionally funny it’s somehow even better than if the filmmakers intended to make a comedy, right? Here, we cherry pick the films and scenes that made us laugh til we cried.
Jamie Foxx is the master of brains and brawn. He's the Oscar winning actor who can slip easily from high-brow to low-life, from society to street, from art-house to action.
