Ed Helms - that guy who's in everything!

From humble beginnings in sketch comedy to his latest blockbuster Father Figures, Ed Helms has kept us laughing for the better part of a decade.
The Office

As the painfully arrogant Andy, Helms presents a layered version of the office one-upper- incredibly self-centered with a slight anger management problem. However, his softer side comes out in his relationship with office cat lover Angela, showing that is can be possible to feel slightly sorry for a guy who says crap like this:

The Hangover series

Ed really came to prominence on Australian screens in the box office smash hit franchise, The Hangover. As loveable Stu, Helms gave us a character who was seemingly unassuming - that is, until he casually got a Mike Tyson tattoo, married a hooker and lost a tooth, of course.

We’re The Millers

In the wildly funny comedy about a group of misfits pretending to be a family to smuggle weed across the US/Mexican border, Helms gets to nut out his comedic chops as Brad Gurdlinger, the rich drug lord who arranges the operation.

Spearheading the remake of the Griswold family franchise, Helms stars as Randy, the grown up Griswold now ready to take his family on their own crazy holiday adventure. Showing he’s not afraid to make fun of himself, the film provides the right mix of slapstick humour and witty jabs to keep audiences laughing.

Father Figures

In a comedic dream come true, Helms has partnered with Hollywood funnyman Owen Wilson (Wow! Said in a Wilson-esque tone…) in the new comedy Father Figures. Wilson and Helms are Kyle and Peter Reynolds, brothers whose eccentric mother raised them to believe their father had died when they were young. When they discover this to be a lie, they set out together to find their real father, and end up learning more about their mother than they probably ever wanted to know.
