Did you know that there are hidden easter eggs in Wonder Woman? Here are some of the best.
Our obsession with all things Wonder Woman is as strong as ever, and we can’t wait for Justice League to hit our screens in November. While we attempt to be patient, we’ve been revisiting Diana Prince’s world and discovering all the things we missed the first time around. Here are just some of our favourite Easter Eggs.
WAS THAT A ‘NEW GOD’ IN THE BACKGROUND? (SEE THE BALD GUY!)

When Diana and Steve arrive in London, they encounter a bald escape artist in shackles, who miraculously escapes his bondage in record time. This could possibly be a reference to the Jack Kirby creation Mister Miracle who was turned over to Darkseid, the tyrant of Apokolips. He managed to escape Apokolips and fled to Earth, where he eventually became a member of the Justice League. Also worth noting is that Mister Miracle was one of the many characters to appear in DC Films’ new intro, which debuted before Wonder Woman.
FAUSTA GRABLES, THE NAZI WONDER WOMAN & THAT BLUE DRESS

Remember that blue dress? The German woman that Diana steals it from is a DC Comics character, Fausta Grables. In Lynda Carter’s 1970’s TV series, she was also a Nazi-loving villain.
DIANA TRIES ICE CREAM FOR THE FIRST TIME

In Wonder Woman, Steve Trevor gives Diana her first taste of ice-cream... to her utter delight. This moment comes straight from the comic book Justice League: Origin and was also used in the Justice League: War animated movie that adapted the original story.
REAL HISTORICAL FIGURES REFERENCED

Several historical figures appear in Wonder Woman, but Danny Huston’s evil General Ludendorff is the most prominent. He’s based on an actual military figure, General Erich Ludendorff who gained infamy as the most powerful man in Germany during World War I.
A SURPRISE CAMEO

Keen eyes would notice a familiar face in the background of the Belgium war sequence: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Director, Zack Snyder.
