Triple threat stars

Acting, singing, directing … is there anything these stars can’t do?
There’s nothing Hollywood loves more than a triple threat. Check out these stars who seem to have the golden touch with everything they turn their hand to...

Ben Affleck
Claim to fame: Scriptwriter, actor, director
Ben may struggle in the husband department but workwise, he can’t seem to put a foot wrong. He helped long-time buddy Matt Damon hone a screenplay that would later become Good Will Hunting, acted in a bunch of great roles and then turned his hand to directing with Gone Baby Gone, Oscar-winning Argo and his most recent Live By Night. What’ll he do next? We can’t wait to find out!

Live by Night

Snoop Dogg
Claim to fame: Singer, songwriter, actor
He’s got albums. He’s written songs for everyone from The Jimmy Fallon Show to Britain’s Got Talent. But what truly blows our mind is that Snoop Dogg has 82 acting credits to his name across TV and film. From Monk and The Simpsons to Pitch Perfect 2, Starsky and Hutch and even Training Day - this is a guy that clearly never sleeps.

Jennifer Lopez
Claim to fame: Singer, songwriter, TV presenter/judge, actress
Sure, her early acting roles aren’t much to write home about, but opposite George Clooney in Out of Sight? Amazing. She’s reportedly the highest paid Latin actress in film history, which isn’t bad – and hey, we love her wherever she pops up, be it on an Idol judging panel or the big screen. Go Jen!

Harry Connick, Jnr.
Claim to fame: Singer, songwriter, actor
If there’s a busier celeb than Harry, we want to know about it… because few people can cram as much acting and music-making into their lives like he does. TV buffs will have spotted him in Nashville, Law and Order, Will & Grace, but he’s appeared in a heap of films too: Dolphin Tale, Angels Sing, New in Town, P.S. I Love You, Little Man Tate and many more.

Harry Connick Jr

Claim to fame: Singer, songwriter, actor
Since leaving Destiny’s Child, Beyonce has wowed the world with her solo efforts and proved her mettle on the big screen, too. She played the super-ballsy Foxxy Cleopatra in Austin Powers Goldmember, Deena Jones in Dreamgirls and Etta James in Cadillac Records, and now she has twins on board. We reckon Bey’s earned a little down time.
